The Government of Saint Lucia Annual Summer Employment Programme will commence from June 03, 2024.  The programme seeks to place university, tertiary level, and fifth form secondary school students in suitable employment for a period of two months,  (June-July and July –August) at the various Line Agencies within the Public Service.

The primary objective of the Summer Employment Programme is to provide students with the opportunity to engage in practical work experience, thus acquiring new skills and competences. Participating students will be remunerated for the services provided during the period.

The Department of the Public Service kindly invites students to submit the completed Summer Employment Programme application form along with the following:

• Copy of School Identification Card    
• Copy of National Identification Card

The completed application forms can be dropped off at the Department of the Public Service located on the 2nd Floor of the Greaham Louisy Administrative Building, or via email to: admin.publicservice@govt.lc.  Application forms for the Summer Employment Programme can be found on the Government of Saint Lucia website at: https://www.govt.lc/media.govt.lc/www/resources/forms/summer-employment---application-form-2017.doc
