The Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations informs of the call for applications to pursue undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University (WKU).

BENEFITS |
- Unlimited scholarship offers to citizens of OAS member states
- Special tuition waivers for citizens of OAS member states, which includes up to USD $11,400 of the total tuition costs each year of the program of study

Scholarship benefits are subject to the academic performance of the scholarship recipient. In order to receive these benefits, the scholarship recipient should not be reported with an unsatisfactory academic performance due to absences of failing courses.
Expenses not covered by the Scholarship
- Remaining tuition and/or school fees;
- Immigration fees;
- Research expenses;
- Study material;
- Living expenses;
- Round trip airfare; and
- Any other costs not mentioned
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration an applicant must:
- Provide an unconditional admission letter from WKU;
- This scholarship is open to new applicants as well as current students at WKU who are from an OAS member state and not a current OAS-WKU scholarship recipient
- Submit a complete scholarship application form with all required supporting documents; and
- Be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia;
The following applicants are ineligible:
- Current OAS scholarship recipients;
- OAS General Secretary, (GS/OAS) staff and their immediate relatives or GS/OAS consultants; and
- OAS Permanent officials and their immediate relatives.

Selection of Awardees
OAS and the WKU will select the scholarship awardees. The names of the scholarship recipients will be published in August 2021 on the OAS Scholarship website www.oas.org/scholarhsips. The OAS will contact selected candidates by email with the scholarship offer and instructions for the scholarship acceptance. Applicants who are not selected will not be contacted.
